When Russia declared war on Ukraine, we knew that women and children will become the real victims of the war. However, a lot of women voluntarily participated in the war and are being lauded for their exemplary contribution and now we have a sniper who is being compared to a war legend. A female Ukrainian sniper named ‘Charcoal’ is being compared to a legendary sniper called ‘Lady Death’ who participated in World War 2. We love these unique names, not gonna lie!
Looks like Ukraine just got its new defence superhero and they totally need it, recently the Ukrainian Army shared a few pictures of a female sniper known by her nickname ‘Ugolik’ which means charcoal. In the pictures, the Ukrainian sniper can be seen wearing a military uniform and her face is half hidden by a scarf, she is carrying her weapon which is wrapped in a net. People are calling her “the hero of the modern war”. The Ukrainian sniper is also being hailed as modern-day ‘Lady Death’. Lyudmila Pavlichenko was known as Lady Death, she was a Ukrainian sniper in the Red Cross Army, she killed more than 300 Nazi soldiers during World War 2, as per reports.
