Courtney Rogers Has Had 10 Kids In 10 Years. Says She Won’t Rest Until She Has Had 12.
At the risk of sounding heartless and being disowned by my parents if they ever read this article, I will admit that I have always been averse to the idea of wanting kids. Of course there are days when I find myself going back and forth on the idea, imagining if it would be really that bad to have a big house and a bunch of kids running around, but then the moment passes, and I am back to avoiding run ins with them or the idea, as do a lot of other women out there. Except for one Courtney Rogers from the US, who even after having given birth to 10 children in 10 years, is looking forward to having 2 more.
Yes, you heard that right and no, we’re not yanking your chain, because turns out there are all kinds of people out there, some even with the desire to push put entire sports teams! The story of Courtney and her husband Chris Rogers started when they got married back in 2008 and had their first born 2 years later in 2010. From a couple they had now become a family, but they were far from wanting to put a full stop in the baby making.
Since 2010, Courtney has gotten pregnant 9 more times, having all of 10 children in 10 years. If you math it out, cumulatively, the woman who is now 36 years old, has gone without being pregnant for only 9 months in 10 years. And if that wasn’t all, Courtney is pregnancy again and expecting her 11th child to be born in November this year. Of course, the lockdown may have had a little to do with that too.

With a vision and a dream to have 12 kids, the couple has been at it since 10 years and wouldn’t rest until they’re a proud family of 12. We already think they are so many of them – 10 children in 10 years! Capable of then having their in-house cricket team, the family has everyone named with the first letter – C. Their names are – Clint, Clay, Cade, Callie, Cash, twins Colt and Case, Calena, Caydue, and Coralee.

Talking about her 11th child who is yet to be born, Courtney shared, “I always get nervous because we’ve had two first trimester miscarriages, but we’re at 33 weeks now and very excited. We can’t wait to hold this little one.” The couple also shared how having 10 kids is already a handful, so much so that they are always occupied in their kids’ schedules. The two also talked about how as far as the expenses are concerned, they spend $1200 a month on food and another 1000 dollars on the children’s gifts during the Christmas season.
“We want to have 12 children, a family of 14 even. My husband is the eldest of 10, so before we got married, he joked about having as many children as his mum had. The kids want us to be like the film Cheaper by the Dozen, where the parents compromise their careers to raise 12 children,” Courtney said. And while we may not understand a lot about that, and also keep our parents away from reading this, lest they force us to push out a football team out of our vaginas too, it wholesome to see such a couple fall so madly in love with the idea of having so many children. Guess, they won’t ever have a dull day in life!
