Class 8 Dropout Nabbed For Hacking Accounts Of 400 Girls, Blackmailing Them With Their Obscene Photos For Money
Like every other job that has its own hazards to look out for, mine requires me to be extra cautious with those who lurk on the internet just to trick you into a rather compromising position. Like this man from Lucknow, who apparently hacked the accounts of almost 400 women to blackmail them into paying him money. Yes, that’s right. There is a serial lurker on the internet, who is responsible for hacking into the social media accounts of more than 400 women just to get access to their intimate and personal photos, chats, messages and more. He then made use of this very private information to blackmail these women into paying him huge and hefty amounts, just so he would keep quiet and not circulate their private information all over the internet.
Turns out, the mastermind behind this ridiculous and cheap stunt is a 26-year-old, class 8th dropout named Mishra, who was nabbed by the cybercrime unit of Lucknow Police on Tuesday. One of his victims had filed a complaint about how an unidentified man was blackmailing her for money by using her private photos that he gained access to after hacking her Facebook account.

Upon investigation it was found that the man had learnt the trick and gained inspiration for such an immoral crime from a video he saw on YouTube. He would apparently send links to girls on their social media, stating how when they would open it, they would find their obscene photographs. The link, would ask for the login details from the women, which is how the accused would hack their accounts and fish out compromising information, including pictures and chats.
Threatening to circulate the contents, he would then make unreasonable demands for being paid, lest they wanted their pictures to go viral. The report from an officer on the matter stated, “Mishra hacked social media accounts and accessed photos, mobile chats of about 400 girls and sent threats to upload their phone contents if not paid money.”
As of now, the culprit is being interrogated further while his laptop has been seized and sent to the forensics department for examination. We hope that the accused gets a strict punishment for his crimes, considering it is about time that people realise how it’s highly unethical, immoral and unlawful to hack and blackmail women!
