BJP MLA Aravind Limbavali’s Daughter Argues With Cops On Breaking Traffic Rules, Already Has 13 Pending Traffic Violations
In the eyes of the law, every citizen is equal. But some people tend to behave in a rather privileged way when treated the same as any other citizen. That’s exactly what happened in the case of a BJP MLA’S daughter who was stopped for rash driving in Bengaluru. I will not deny but it was rather shocking to see the way she behaved with the traffic cops and the kind of augments she put forth to justify her acts.
The incident took place at 5:15 in the evening near a hotel on Raj Bhavan Road in Bengaluru. It involved BJP MLA Aravind Limbavali’s daughter Renuka Limbavali. Her BMW car was flagged by the police, allegedly for rash driving. The vehicle had apparently taken over a police officer’s car from the wrong side. When stopped by the cops, Renuka Limbavali started to misbehave and argue with them. The traffic police also found that the car had 13 pending fines on it, amounting to Rs 10,000, and asked her to pay the same.
Renuka Limbavali in her argument also said that she is the daughter of an MLA, and cannot be booked on a case for overtaking, as per news. She further questioned the police saying how can they book an MLA’s car for taking over an ACP’s van? The whole incident was captured by a few media people and the video went viral in no time. The MLA’s daughter also said that she did not have money and asked the police to send someone home to collect it. She even misbehaved with one of the local TV channel’s cameramen and asked him to stop filming.
BJP MLA Aravind Limbavali apologised on behalf of her daughter and friends who were also present inside the car.
