BharatPe Fires Madhuri Jain Grover Over Fraud Charges, Latter Takes To Twitter To Slam The Organisation For ‘Conspiracy’

Shark Tank investor BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover’s wife Madhuri Jain Grover has been making headlines over the last few weeks. Recently, the shark’s wife who is the company’s controller was sacked by the organisation for ‘misappropriation of funds’ and siphoning money. She was sent on leave last month from 20 January, just a day after co-founder Ashneer Grover announced his temporary leave. And now, Madhuri Jain Grover has gone on a bender on Twitter and shared several audios and videos of ‘drunken orgies’ and ‘male chauvinistic’ behaviour in the BharatPe office.

Madhuri Jain Grover has claimed that the CEO Suhail Sameer and co-founders of BharatPe Bhavik Koladiya and Shashvat Nakrani have not only ‘snatched’ what her husband Ashneer Grover has ‘single-handedly’ built but they also wait for her to leave the office so they can drink and smoke there. In a series of tweets, the co-founder’s wife shared videos of employees as well as the CEO and other co-founders dancing, drinking and smoking at work.

Madhuri Jain Grover has also released an unverified audio call between her husband and co-founder Bhavik Koladiya and chairman of the company Rajnish Kumar. In the audio clip, Bhavik can be heard abusing Ashneer Grover after the latter refused to comply with the former’s request for a meeting along with Rajnish.

On Wednesday sources from BharatPe told CNBC-TV18 that Madhuri Jain Grover was sacked over charges of ‘fraud and embezzlement’. The source has claimed that she used the company funds for buying beauty products, electronics, holiday trips and to pay her personal staff as well. She has also been accused of producing fake bills. On the other hand, her husband and co-founder Ashneer Grover has categorically denied these allegations.
