5. Becoming by Cindy Crawford (Rs 3,325)

There are very few fashion girls who DON’T KNOW who Cindy Crawford is, and fewer models still who aren’t inspired by her life and work in international fashion. One of the original supermodels of the ’90s, Crawford blazed a trail as the strong, athletic, fit and fabulous All American model who changed the way fashion looked at women, leaving the waif-thin, heroin-chic model image by the wayside. This biographical book celebrates all that and more, and features memorable photographs of the super from the early part of her career right down to the present day. It also includes all the lessons she learned along the way, and is a retrospective of sorts on her 50th birthday. Now here’s a woman for the ages and a truly inspiring role model!
