Bollywood actor Archana Puran Singh recently returned from her 15-day Ayurvedic wellness retreat in Bengaluru. The 63-year-old revealed that she was advised to follow a strict daily routine in her health plan. Opening up about her experience in her elder son Aaryamann Sethi’s YouTube vlog, she opened up about the lifestyle changes she had to make, including no sugar, dinner at 7 PM, and sleeping at 10.

She stated, “Mera sab bandh hai (For me, everything is curbed). No meetha. No maida. No fried. Sleep at 10 pm-11 pm. No enjoyment (laughs). I have to eat dinner at 7 pm. Live, laugh, eat because I can’t…” The actor had also shared glimpses of her simple meals on Instagram, like rice-flour momos with soy filling, which she called her evening snack. In another story, she even shared the view from her room in the morning at the retreat.

For the unversed, she married actor Parmeet Sethi in 1992 after dating for four years. They eventually had two sons, Aaryamann and Ayushmaan Sethi. They are often seen sharing family vlogs on their YouTube channel while entertaining everyone. In a recent video, Archana opened up about suffering a miscarriage in the 90s before the birth of her two sons. The actor said that this experience was especially hard because she was 24 and feared that she might never become a mother.

Acknowledging the trauma that she went through, her husband, Parmeet Sethi, said that he, too, was affected and did not want children after that point. He stated that he was happy with their life as it was. Archana also shared that her father had passed away when she was pregnant, and she had found herself craving aloo puri during that period. This was something she struggled to understand during the time of mourning.
