As their cheeks turned crimson with coyness, their chemistry was visible to one and all. Of course, they went on to be cast in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal 2 and that’s when they truly bonded. Even when the shoot wrapped up, they went out of their way to spend time together. But all our excitement came crashing down when we heard they broke up to focus on their careers. Now a little birdie tells us, that it’s Amrita Singh who doesn’t want Sara to be involved with love and all the things that go with it, at the moment.
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, “Amrita feels now is the time for her daughter to consolidate her career and not get distracted by matters of the heart. Sara, on the other hand, is way too spontaneous to make calculated career decision. She thinks with her heart. And her heart tells her it’s okay to mix work with a personal life.” Which is possibly why, they are avoiding public appearances. In fact, they are not even indulging in the digital PDA they were heavily indulged in earlier. While there are rumours that they have not actually broken up and will also be celebrating New Year together, only time will tell.

However, the source also revealed that Saif Ali Khan is actually okay with whatever Sara chooses for herself. “Both Kareena and Saif are fond of Kartik, specially Kareena who shot for a show with Kartik recently and has since then been telling her friends what a well-behaved boy he is,” said the source.
