You’ll Never Be Able To Recognise Amitabh Bachchan In This New Avatar For Gulabo Sitabo

One super talented  actor in Bollywood who continues to leave us mesmerised even at 76 is Amitabh Bachchan! The actor is unstoppable and never fails to surprise us with his choice of versatile roles. Amitabh Bachchan has proved time and again that age is just a number, and the still from his next film Gulabo Sitabo is no exception. Trust me when I say you won’t be able to recognise him in this role, but you’re bound to be impressed! With a long beard, spectacles and a head scarf, Amitabh Bachchan looks unrecognisable in this new avatar for Gulabo Sitabo.

This may not be the first time, where we will see Amitabh Bachchan in a prosthetic look. I mean who can forget his portrayal in Paa where he was seen playing the role of Abhishek Bachchan’s son and 102 Not out, which made us fall in love with his character. This look from Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo has positively left us in a state of shock. The 76-year-old actor, who is shooting for the film in Lucknow, plays the role of a landlord alongside actor Ayushmann Khurrana.

According to a source, “When Shoojit showed him the look sketch, he was excited to work on the film, taking it on as a new challenge. He is required to sit down with the make-up team for hours before starting the shoot. An international crew has come on board to work on the appearance.” The actor is aging like fine wine and recently revealed on Twitter that he’s in the midst of shooting the film. “One done another begun. Travel, location change, look change, crew change, colleagues change, city change and story change. From Lucknow today Gulabo Sitabo and the look? Well, what can I say?” he tweeted.

Amitabh Bachchan is social media-savvy and we often can’t get enough of his hilarious tweets. In an interview with Times Now, Ayushmann opened up about his Gulabo Sitabo co-star, Amitabh Bachchan, as he’s working with him for the first time and is obviously nervous and excited. Ayushmann said, “Both, it’s like mixed feelings. I have butterflies in my stomach. I don’t know how will I feel when I face Mr Bachchan for the first time on screen together. And I am excited as Shoojit Sircar and Juhi Chaturvedi (screenwriter) are coming together with him after. It is a dream team.”

Well, it is definitely their most-awaited film of the year and we can’t wait to see them on-screen! The movie is slated to release on April 24, 2020.
