Alia And Kalki Steal The Show In The Gully Boy Teaser Trailer

Gully Boy, another unconventional story that Bollywood tapped into, released its teaser trailer today, and left us wanting for more. The 1.5 minute trailer takes us through the journey of street rappers in India giving us a sneak peek into the lives of these people, stories we do not know, but should.

Adapted from the real life story of Naezy and Divine, the two gully boys, quite literally, who rose to fame with their hit – Mere Gully Mein, this teaser trailer definitely seems promising and of course, intense.

It starts with Ranveer and even as the rap plays in the background, we are introduced to the characters. Alia Bhatt in a more conservative avatar, with her hair covered and Kalki fully imbibing the look of a rebel, spray painting on walls and hanging out of a car, quite dangerously.

A rather deglam trailer which ends with Ranveer singing the words, “Asli hip-hop se milaaye hindustaan ko”

We’re as excited to watch this movie for the story as we are to see the pairing of Alia and Ranveer! The countdown to February 14, officially begins!
