Aditya Roy Kapur Engaged To Supermodel Diva Dhawan. Are They Making It Official?
Bollywood has a long list of celebrities who have been in relationships but gave us the cliché “we’re just good friends” crap. Aditya Roy Kapur and Diva Dhawan seem to be doing exactly that. They say no smoke without fire, so we wonder if there’s nothing where’s the buzz coming from? The duo has been in constant denial of their relationship. Sure, they have the right to be private but that’s no fun for us! However, if recent reports are to be believed, the couple (deny all you want, we’ve shipped you together!) is going to get engaged in the coming months. The report by Mumbai Mirror also says that they will get married in 2020!
We’re really happy for them but seriously, but why the denial? For those living under a rock, Aditya Roy Kapur had addressed the buzz around their relationship when he made an appearance on Koffee With Karan earlier this year. “She’s a lovely girl and an old friend of mine. We met at a fashion show many years ago and we’re good friends. We went out for dinner one night at this famous restaurant that everyone is going to nowadays, Bastian. So we got papped and stories started. Completely false stories,” he had said.

They never accepted being in a relationship. So when the rumours of their breakup started doing the rounds, they kept mum about that as well. However, a source (God bless them) had revealed, “Adi and Diva couldn’t commit to each other and decided to part ways. They had not taken their relationship to a serious level so, it was a cordial split for both of them. They have stayed friends and are in touch even now.” We may be speculating wildly but it seems like one or both of them really liked each other, but for some reason weren’t able to commit. And now, like they show in the movies, the two realised they can’t live without each other and voluntarily are planning to get trapped for life. Aww. This version of the story sounds so cute. However, even if they get married, being one of those private peeps, we really doubt we will be invited to partake in the activities.

Anyhow, we are really happy for the duo. And while everybody is saying how the hottie getting married will break several hearts, come on! It’s not like any of us had a chance, so let’s not be so dramatic here.
