A Camel Chewed Off A Woman’s Hair When She Tried To Take A Selfie With It

When people ask me what got me through the lockdown last year, I tell them it was my friends and family. But that’s not the complete truth. Netflix and goofy animal YouTube videos had a huge role to play in preserving my sanity as well. In fact, my love for goofy animal videos has led me to watch some very questionable content. For instance, just yesterday I watched a video of a puppy trying to climb stairs for the first time, five times. In my defence, it was adorable and I just couldn’t get enough. Anyway, speaking of animal videos, there is a not-so-goofy one going viral and it’s left us laughing out loud. You see, a camel chewed off a woman’s hair when she tried to take a selfie with it. Should I feel bad about laughing at this?

In the video going viral, a woman tries to take a selfie with a camel but receives the scare of her life when the animal tries to chew off her hair. Did it think her hair was food? Was it annoyed about people always taking selfies? I am so confused about why the camel decided to chew on this woman’s hair. Although, it’s arguably an extremely traumatic experience.

The video that is going viral first appeared on TikTok. It showed the woman getting a little too close to the camel for a selfie. You know how in videos we see people getting perfect selfies with animals? Giraffes eating out of your hand or koalas smiling in the background? This was nothing like that. It blew up in the woman’s face rather spectacularly. The camel ripped off the woman’s hair in one bite and started chewing on it. This is one of those things that are hilarious until they happen to you. We are hoping the woman was not injured.

People on social media are very divided about this video. Some are extremely amused while others are shocked and concerned. Well, it is pretty shocking considering camels are not usually aggressive. But hey, I would be annoyed if people kept trying to take selfies with me all the time.
