You know, I live in Navi Mumbai and I usually travel by bus because it is quite affordable and I am broke. But I know for a fact that these bus drivers think they are flying a helicopter and it’s quite dangerous. However, a 61-year-old woman recently lost her money to cyber fraudsters while lodging a complaint against a rash BEST bus driver. What is this behaviour, yaar!
According to the reports, the woman works with a marine services firm on N M Joshi Marg in Lower Parel. While going to her workplace from her Tardeo residence in a private vehicle on July 19, she was forced to a corner of the road due to rash driving by the BEST bus driver. After that, the woman decided to report this incident and searched for a helpline number on the internet. She got a number and narrated the whole story to the person on the other end. A few minutes later, she got a call wherein the caller told her that he is a representative of a consumer court and asked her to fill in the requisite information on a link which was sent by him. He also asked her to pay Rs.5 for processing her complaint.
