As someone who used to feel conscious in sleeveless tops and dresses, so much so that I stopped wearing them all together, I decided to do something about my flabby arms. I would always admire the toned arms of celebrities, and started to dream about toned arms, too. Well, dreaming gets you nowhere if you don’t work towards your goal.

So, I started off with a few exercises, and the best part is they were easy and didn’t require any equipment… no dumbells, kettlebells or exercise balls!

1. OPPOSITE ARM AND LEG LIFT

Commonly known as ‘bird dog’, this workout will work on your legs and arms. So, you not only get toned arms but toned thighs as well. Time to rejoice, ladies!

2. ARM CIRCLES

Remember when we were in school, our Physical Training teacher made us rotate our arms in circles? Sometimes I wish I’d listened to her and taken my physical classes seriously. All you need to do is rotate your arms in both clockwise and anti-clockwise motion. Easy, isn’t it?

3. JUMPING JACKS

The constant movement of your arms helps in tightening the muscles in your arms. You eventually lose all the excess fat, and end up with strong and toned arms. The cherry on top is that this workout helps tone your entire body. Are you feeling motivated, yet?

4. PUSH-UPS

Start slow and you will feel your body strength increasing. As most of your body weight is on your arms, all the energy goes into the muscles to support your body. Do push-ups regularly, and voila! You’ll say hello to super-toned arms in no time.
