If there is one cosmetic product that I absolutely adore and can’t part with, then it has to be kajal. If you ask me, then kajals are a complete game-changer. It can make or break your look with just one stroke. But not just any kajal, mind you – for me the kajal has to be dark, intense, defining, and most importantly smudge-free (cause I refuse to go around looking like an adorable but human panda). And I’m pretty sure that I can’t be the only one who is looking for the perfect, deepest, darkest kajals in town. If you’re a kajal-obsessed, then the list below is just for you.
Check out 7 bold, dark kajals that will give your eyes and make up the extra pop:
1. Sugar
This kajal by Sugar has a creamy texture that makes applying it look like a piece of cake. It has that deep black pigmentation that shows with just a single swipe and lasts up to 8hrs. And to top it off, it comes in many different colours.
2. Nykaa
Nykaa’s kajal is rich in its pigmentation and just one application is enough. It is very dark too which really highlights your eyes and your overall look. The best part about it is that it is smudge-proof and waterproof.

3. Maybelline
This one is for all the beginners out there. It is affordable and will last for 24hrs. No wonder, this perfect black, smudge-proof kajal is a cult classic.
4. Insight
This kajal by Insight is the same one that I’m currently using and I have to say, I’m in love. It is easy to apply, intense black with one stroke, smudge-proof, waterproof, and lasts up to 24hrs. The goodness of all in this one, single kajal.
5. Kiro
Apart from a good pigment, this kajal is waterproof and it works wonderfully if I want to smudge it a little and use it as an eyeshadow. It’s also very moisturising and not harmful to your skin even if you decide to sleep with your makeup on (not that it’s a good habit, but hey, we’ve all been there).

6. Lakme
This kajal is perfect if you want to give your eyes a dramatic, intense touch. It has a rich, creamy texture that will last up to 22hrs and can be used as a stand-alone on days when you don’t feel like going through an entire makeup routine.
7. Plum
It has a great dark pigment and it doesn’t smudge easily. Normally using a kajal makes my eyes itchy and I usually end up with panda eyes after a while but that’s not something you need to worry about with this one.
