Metaverse is the new universe, the world is craving to enter and with this hope of a bright new future of fashion, fast-fashion giant Zara is geared up for its grand entry. Launching its first-ever Metacollection, which I am dying to buy, Zara’s limited-edition capsule collection, titled–Lime Glam is dressing up the dwellers of Metaverse and I am sad I ain’t one of them. Ranging from makeup, accessories to its loved by all garments, the new line-up has pop candy colours headlining it. Well, makeup is surely something we don’t relate Zara with, the new range is absolutely futuristic and I am sure you too wanna try your hands on some lilac nails.

Inspired by psychedelia, the popular Zara logo is metallic in the metaverse, with pink-headed model avatars, showcasing the product range. Definitely not a piece that can reside happily in your physical wardrobes, the offering includes, a floor, wall and a photo booth, to aid an enhanced experience. Zara’s Spring-Summer 2022 collection is indeed a fresh wave amongst the lineup of high-end luxury brands, that have been ruling the universe already.

Well, the metaverse isn’t an alien concept to the high-street label, since it previously launched collaborative collection with the popular South Korean app– Zepeto created a buzz. With an aim to appeal to a newer generation, Zara’s efforts towards its design language and seller modes have altered drastically and there’s no doubt about its production, topping the closets of all the ‘it’ girls. With its approach to constructing a premium positioning, the collection will also be available on Zepeto for all the metaverse avatars. The range starts from rainbow jeans, denim jumpsuits, denim co-ord sets, cross body bags and more. Well, if you ask me, the collection doesn’t move beyond Zara’s staple street-wear designs, something we can expect in the metaverse.

I mean, with the speed the world is running towards these alternate universes is exciting and soon we can expect even Jaadu to join our universe irl.
