Yami Gautam’s fashion evolution is remarkable. From frills and frocks to edgier and experimental looks, the Bhoot Police actress has travelled a long way in terms of fashion. I have been a fan of the actress’ post-wedding looks, especially her interesting pairings with ‘Kashmiri Dejhoor‘ (traditional ear ornament worn by a newlywed). Ahh! That was too lovely. And ending our Monday on a happier note is this new Instagram post by Yami. The latest image on Yami’s feed features her in a pantsuit. Wearing moss-green over-sized blazer and pants, Yami styled the look with a pair of beige heels. She further kept her distance from accessories and opted for subtle makeup and straight hair. A classic example of power-dressing, we are in love with the shade. And her choice of the ensemble also hints at leather’s glorious comeback this year, and its sudden abundance in celebrity wardrobes from Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra to Shraddha Kapoor.
Being a fan of a solid colour palette, Yami’s major looks exhibit her love for colour-on-colour style. An apt example of this is her recent all-black look. Sporting a bodysuit by the label TheCedition, Yami styled the look with a pair of black trousers and a belt in the same shade. However, Yami is often seen experimenting with flouncy attires, blazers play a significant role in her film promotion wardrobe.
