From Kate Middleton To Tom Cruise, Stylish Celebrities Who Took A Seat In Wimbledon’s Royal Box

With the yearly return of Wimbledon, celebrities arrived on the courtside to watch the game and serve their sartorial skills too. From the Duchess of Cambridge to our onscreen Viscountess Bridgerton–Simone Ashley, stars treated us with a dose of sunny summer fashion, as they graced the courtside for the annual round of matches. Let’s take a look at our favourite celebrity styles at Wimbledon Championship 2022.

Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton was indeed the showstopper invitee at this year’s Wimbledon, and we thank her impeccable style for that. She settled for a dreamy polka dress by Alessandra Rich, that came dipped in the brightest hues of blue. Amongst the many outfits that the Duchess of Cambridge swore to wear, this dotted number was her second choice in the same print. What added a charm of elegance were her pearl drop earrings and a petite white bag.

Tom Cruise

Amongst the most gorgeous men, who arrived for the tournament, Tom Cruise’s ensemble channelled his signature style. The Top Gun: Maverick actor settled for basic denim blue suitings to match the clear blue skies. The three-piece set incorporated a blue blazer, and matching pants, all layered over a basic blue shirt and printed tie. In pictures, we saw our main man, flashing his brightest smile, with his long hair swaying. The wind was sure a paid actor here. Right Tom?

David Beckham

Ace footballer, David Beckham brought together his eternal love affair with double-breasted suits, as he trusted Ralph Lauren to help him dish out another spectacular look. Interestingly, he replaced his liking for navy, crisp blazers with an all-neutral attire, that incorporated a double-breasted, chocolate brown blazer, teamed with creme-coloured pants, a pin-stripe shirt and a dotted mud-brown tie. And well, his smile lit up the Royal Box at Wimbledon.

Simone Ashley

Turning muse to label–Ralph Lauren, Simone arrived in the season’s next big thing–the slip dress. The silk-satin number oozed luxury through the lustrous fabric and well, the shade, divine blue. The piece as seen on Simone was pulled out from the label’s Polo series. She complimented her look with gold enamel jewellery and a Wellington bag.

Nicola Coughlan

Another Bridgerton start to arrive for the annual games was–Nicola Coughlan, who brought with her a bunch of refreshing colours. Much like others, Nicola too turned a special guest to Ralph Lauren, in a plaid, trench dress. Unlike the rest, Nicola brought with her a palette of shades like–pink, green and beige. She further styled the look with open-toe platform heels and hair styled into a messy bun.

Charithra Chandran

Bridgerton 2‘s diamond too arrived for the annual event in her best-dressed avatar. From her many looks, Charithra opted for a navy, two-piece co-ord set for one outing and a crisp sailor-style ensemble by Ralph Lauren for another sunny day. As suggested by the latter, Charithra stayed true to minimal, off-duty dressing, with a hint of print and colour, added by her waist scarf and a mini brown bag. Vintage and vivacious.

Daisy Edgar-Jones

Twinning with our favourite Simone Ashley, Daisy too turned muse for Ralph Lauren, in a bright sunny, slip dress. The minimal A-line number, as seen on Daisy was bright and perfect for the daytime outing, as she chose to step aside from accessorising and resorted to a minimal, dewy face glow, with a hint of tomato red lipstick.

Gemma Chan

Actress Gemma Chan understood the assignment, as she arrived in a two-toned checkered dress.. The actress seemed at ease with her ensemble for the games, as she injected a sprightful colour-play through her Louis Vuitton, brown bag, that came attached with a tennis-ball-themed charm. The fail-proof combination of green and monochrome stripes was a daring attire amongst Ralph Lauren’s guest list style, which was rooted in solid hues and crisp lapels.

Andrew Garfield

Serving nazaare from the Royal Box, our very own Andrew settled for Ralph Lauren to channelise his ‘a day at the courtside’ dressing. For starters, his silk beige suit, was a refreshing addition to his now, exuberant collection of suitings. We further watched Andrew cheer for the players, in a pinstripe shirt and creme-coloured linen trousers and his brunette hair, hoping to match with the ensemble.

Tom Hiddleston

Ralph Lauren, indeed brought the best line-up of attendees at Wimbledon. Dressed to perfection, Tom was loki, in no mood to experiment, as he arrived in a crisp navy suit for a day in the Royal Box. The actor chose to wear Ralph Lauren’s Purple label. His ensemble for the tournament incorporated a double-breasted, navy blazer, matching pants, a solid, blue shirt and a textured tie. To sprinkle a hope of print, Tom added a polka pocket square and well, it is his charm that won above the attire.

H.H. Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh

H.H. Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur was another shining star at the tournament, as he arrived in RL Purple label to watch the game. Known for his crisp suitings, Padmanabh Singh styled a double-breasted linen suit, alongside a white shirt and an interesting, emerald green, printed tie from the same label’s Polo series.

Joe Locke

Heartstopper fame, Joe Locke too attended the tournament for Ralph Lauren and perhaps was one of the most, well-dressed invitees at the event. The actor opted for a doeskin wool sport coat, wisely layered over a custom-fit oxford shirt, an old-school, checkered madras tie, all styled with a pair of brightly-lit orange pants. What a genius!

Rebel Wilson

Rebel Wilson was a balanced Barbie in a rose pink dress. Her tournament-style uniform was minimal at its best, as she styled the Balmain, Barbie dress with a pair of embellished flats and her blonde tresses styled in a neat ponytail.
