Taapsee Pannu’s Monochromatic Experiment Is Half-Hearted But Full Marks For The Shade
Actress Taapsee Pannu is currently on promotion duties for her upcoming film–Shabaash Mithu. And well, the fashion quotient is no less spectacular than the film’s trailer. As seen in the latest pictures on her Instagram feed, the actress wrapped herself in a monsoon favourite blue ensemble, but with a twist. For her latest shoot, she opted for a piece from the shelves of label–Oh Polly. The three-piece set incorporated a sheer, gauzy blue, turtle neck top, teamed with a leather skirt. While the monochromatic pairing was all things great, what made the look a tad bit disappointing for us was the addition of a white corset. Serving as an element of striking contrast, Taapsee’s ensemble paid a tribute to ‘Women In Blue,’ which is about her upcoming film based on former Test and ODI captain of the India women’s national cricket team, Mithali Raj.

Continuing with the splurge of the colour blue, Taapsee went all out with studded hoop earrings and jewellery from Kira, as she further styled her curly hair into a messy ponytail, with a side decorated with blue hair ties. Completing the look, Taapsee then slid into a pair of beige, open-toe heels, with barely done face makeup, reminding us that it is monsoon, so no point.

While we definitely loved Taapsee’s choice of colour, since its well in sync with the rainy mood of this season, the white corset could’ve been skipped.
