Surveen Chawla Drops New Pics From Cannes. Full Marks For Effort But It Looks Off

Actress Surveen Chawla was at the Cannes Film Festival this year and her sartorial choices were a surprise package for the internet. The actress’ new look from the French city gave off some major boss girl energy that we might have an unpopular opinion about. In new pictures on her Instagram feed, we spotted the star wearing an oversized Helen Anthony blazer in muddy green and brown.

The floor-sweeping, two-toned coat featured gold buttons, and two pockets. Styled by Sukriti Grover, the actress further layered a white shirt beneath, with a printed green tie in place. And while we liked her twist to power dressing, the addition of an almost invisible pair of black shorts was an unusual piece in the ensemble. Moreover, Surveen completed the look with black, sheer stockings and glass heels. Besides the distribution of weighted garments in the ensemble, the balance was definitely missing in the look, which led it to look a tad off-beat.

Chawla further added a pair of black sunglasses in the name of accessories and a berry red lip colour, that saved the look. Previously, Chawla experimented with a couture gown and a yellow lehenga for her appearances at the Cannes Film Festival.
