The Sparkly Bomber That’s Giving Baishali Disco Vibes

Mango Bomber Ed's Pick_Featured_Hauterfly

I’ve never been much of a jacket person (I’ve always thought they’ve made me look puffier than I want, and who wants that? *facepalm*). But I was in London a few months ago, and my whole outlook towards jackets changed. They just look so chic, so classy, innit? So many extremely well-dressed men and women strutting their stuff down the streets, wearing very warm yet stylish, well-fitted jackets and coats — mostly going to work. I won’t lie, I ogled a fair bit. But I was a tourist and I work in fashion, OK? I think it was legit, no?

The sad part, though, is that I live in Bombay, a city where winter is a joke. But hey, what do you think summer jackets, blazers, and bomber jackets are for? So my latest splurges have been outerwear of all sorts — denim jackets, waterfall jackets, shrugs, and so on and so forth. During my most recent *window* shopping spree (I have no shame, I am so broke), I spotted this bomber jacket that made me go weak in the knees.

Mango Sequinned Bomber Jacket

Sequins. Check. Bomber. Check. Gold. Check. I mean, it’s love. The beauty of this jacket is that, despite it being sequinned, you can wear it as both daywear as well as for a night out. Think jeans, a t-shirt, sneakers and this jacket, or a sexy LBD, a pair of sky-high ankle boots, and this jacket — either way, you’ll be slaying, girl! And what better time for this purchase than now, as party season hits us with a bang? Most importantly, the fit is relaxed and the fabric looks super comfy — can you really resist? If yes, then you’re hella stronger than I am!
