Sonali Bendre Dug Out A 20-Year-Old Jacket To Dish Out A Crisp New Look. We Absolutely Love!

Sonali Bendre’s style has seen an evolution over time. From Hum Saath Saath Hain-esqué dreamy glam to a more fierce and edgy look in the current times, Sonali has been experimenting with tons of blazers, crisp formals and interesting silhouettes, today. Amidst all of these experiments, one thing that remains a constant in her closet is the idea of re-wearing old pieces. From vintage white kurtas, that remind her of a beautiful moment, to blazers that are still as edgy and fresh, Sonali hopes to utilise her current and old closet to the fullest.

And these new pictures are here to back us up. The actress shared a brand new photograph on her Instagram handle. In the post, we spotted her sporting an 0ff-duty look, including a pair of white trousers, a brown wrapped top and a show-stopping leather jacket. Layering the look with the hero-like, green leather jacket, that featured beige thread hemlines, and crisp lapels, Sonali revealed that it was a piece dug out from her archives. Well, I too couldn’t believe it. In the caption, the actress wrote, “Wearing this 20-year-old jacket and it’s safe to say… both of us have aged well.”
The jacket indeed fit Sonali like a glove, and still holds its sheen charm intact. For an at-home photo shoot, Sonali paired the jacket with a basic combination of brown and white, which further resulted in a three-colour pairing. She further completed the look, with open hair, and wine-coloured lip shade.

Reacting to Sonali’s sustainable fashion choices in the picture, celebrities like Shweta Bachchan, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Dia Mirza dropped comments on the post.

Well, this isn’t the first time that Sonali rounded up a look using a vintage piece from her closet. She earlier sported a white chikankari kurta for siblings Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem’s Eid party. Interestingly, the white kurta was a 16-year-old piece that she earlier wore for a special meeting with our very own James Bond AKA Pierce Brosnan.
