Sobhita Dhulipala Breaks The Conventional Formula Of Dressing A Bollywood Heroine With Her Gucci X Adidas Ensemble
Actress Sobhita Dhulipala has been surprising us with her film choices and of course her style. Experimenting with a gamut of silhouettes, colours, and trends, Dhulipala’s Instagram is proof enough of her ever-evolving style. Experimenting with both sarees, and sultry gowns, Sobhita’s looks are often packaged with her personal style. What we love about her new phase in fashion, is how it bashes the conventional formula that is used to dress up a Bollywood heroine. And an accurate example of that was the actress’ arrival on the red carpet for the GQ Awards 2022.

A sight to behold was Dhulipala’s sporty Gucci look. Styled by Kshitij Kankaria, Sobhita’s look for the special evening had all eyes on her. Dressed head-to-toe in pieces from the collaborative collection by Gucci, and Adidas. The FW22 collection provided a meeting ground for the sportswear giant and the luxury label. One of the many pieces that paraded on the runway, was a black, floor-touching dress. Painted with the signature Adidas stripes in white, and crafted shoulders, accentuated Dhulipala’s athletic form. The runway look was further replicated on the actress, using a three-stripe Adidas head accessory, that also featured a veil-like detailing.
The velvet gown was further coupled with statement black, metallic boots, and lace hand gloves. Sobhita further trusted the power of red lips, and painted her eyelids with a classic winged liner. The corseted silhouette was a mix of form-fitting, and a slight flare, that served to the likes of her personal style. With less print drama, Sobhita’s attire headlined a mix-monogrammed version of the Adidas, and Gucci logos, sitting right in the centre. Unlike the entire runway look, Dhulipala skipped the red corset, which is one of the collection’s hottest designs.
