Sharing a series of official wedding pictures on social media, Sharmin gave a glimpse into the intimate ceremony. The first image captured the couple seated in the mandap, radiating joy on their special day. The subsequent pictures showcased the couple’s stunning attire changes, displaying the versatility of Sharmin’s bridal looks. In one image, Aman wore a traditional white kurta pyjama set while Sharmin adorned a striking violet lehenga. Another picture featured Sharmin in a silver sharara set with a cape, complemented by Aman in black traditional attire. The final snapshot showcased the couple in casual wear, capturing the essence of their love in a more relaxed setting.
Sharmin described her bridal ensemble as an “ercu and rose-gold timeless ensemble.” The couture creation featured a delicate skirt adorned with bejeweled peacock and floral vine motifs, drawing inspiration from vintage 18th Century French lace fragments sourced from Rimple and Harpreet’s personal archives. The intricate cutwork, reminiscent of jaali-like lace, added a magical illusion to the opulent skirt.
The bridal lehenga showcased a harmonious tapestry of royal colors, with embroidery panels layered with dabka, naqshi, sequins, pearls, crystals, and semi-precious stones. Sharmin paired the exquisite lehenga with an embroidered choli and a sheer tulle dupatta, featuring a scalloped cutwork border. The ensemble was completed with a 12-foot-long train, adding a touch of glamour to the diaphanous tulle veil encrusted with sequins.
