Priyanka Chopra’s Jacketed Gown For Bulgari Gala Isn’t Her Smartest Pick, But We Agree With Nick Jonas’ Comment For Her

Actress Priyanka Chopra’s updated bond with red-carpet fashion has brought an elaborate lineup of voluminous, anti-fit gowns to the picture. For her latest two back-to-back occasions, Chopra trusted the charm of layering, in jacketed gowns.In new pictures on her Instagram handle, we spotted the actress in yet another oversized number. Present at Bulgaria’s Eden, Garden Of Wonders showcase in Dubai, Chopra took the centre stage as the jewellery brand’s ambassador. Besides Priyanka, her sartorial pick for the evening was also soaked in the limelight. Styled by celebrity stylist Law Roach, Chopra wrapped herself in a two-piece gown.

The actress’ choice was the biggest nod to Pantone’s colour of the year 2023–Viva Magenta. A part of the ensemble was a slim-fitting, bodycon dress, featuring a thin sequin trim around the neckline. Covering up the body-fit silhouette, Chopra chose to layer up with a long-trailing satin overcoat. The anti-fit tailoring was further supported by balloon bishop sleeves and pleated detailing.

Sealing the look, Chopra chose to add a statement emerald neckpiece from Bulgari. She matched the green accent in her hero jewellery with a statement ring and dainty earrings. For hair, Priyanka stepped away from experiments and channelled a high-shine look. While Priyanka is known for her taste in cutting-edgy silhouettes, her latest look with a voluminous cape doesn’t seem to fit the actress’ personal style statement. The oversized cape jacket in the pictures takes our attention away from PC’s gorgeous jewellery, which is definitely not the intent, especially at a Bulgari event. What we like about the look is her form-fitted gown, that rests beneath her long cape. Reacting to the pictures, Priyanka’s husband/musician–Nick Jonas said, “hottie.”

Previously for her appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival, Chopra channelled a sunny yellow mood in a similar two-piece set. Chopra packed a powerful look in a Nicolas Jebran, jacket gown, garnished with Bulgari jewels.
