Soon-To-Be Engaged Parineeti Chopra Loves Layering Her Ethnic Wear. We’re Stealing Notes

Actress Parineeti Chopra is all set to get engaged with Indian politician and member of the Aam Aadmi Party–Raghav Chadha. Today, the two were seen at the airport together, with rumours of their engagement made headlines. While Chopra has always remained tight-lipped about her personal life, her multiple appearances with her soon-to-be fiancé have been making a lot of buzz on the internet. And like the anticipation of every Bollywood celebrity wedding, fans are excited to watch Chopra’s wedding looks. So, as the actress gears up to be a dulhan, here we are taking some style notes from her, on how to layer your ethnic wear.

Ivory Dreams

This year, the actress walked the Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI for designer Ritika Mirchandani. For the same, Chopra wore an elegant ivory coordinated set, embellished with mirrors, and tonal embroidery. Layering the bandeau blouse, and her straight-fit, slit skirt, the actress added a long, side-slit jacket. The flare on the sides added some volume to the entire fit, while the colour ivory made sure the minimalism was intact. This versatile fit can be further broken down into different pieces and restyled in a variety of new formats.

Balloon Salwars And More

Chopra’s love for jackets has always pushed her to style a look that involves one. Previously, the actress picked a pair of balloon, voluminous salwar, and teamed it with a matching printed scalloped blouse. Completing the look, Chopra added a long, navy blue jacket featuring golden motifs. She further combined it all with a pair of silver, shoulder-grazing earrings.

Bright And Yellow

For sister Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ pre-wedding festivities, the actress picked a variety of jacketed outfits. One of the many was this sunlight-yellow coordinated set, featuring a pair of flared pants and a basic cropped blouse. The beauty of this all-plain, simple look was the addition of a dazzling, sequinned jacket, that gave Chopra a relaxed ensemble to party in. Besides the colour is perfect for a haldi function, the coordinated set was made using the formula of layering.

Wrap A Dupatta

Another innovative way to layer your ethnic wear is to turn your dupatta into a front-open jacket. For sister Priyanka Chopra’s post-wedding dinner, the actress picked a beetroot red anarkali and lehenga set and completed the look using a long dupatta. She smartly wrapped the dupatta around her neck and sealed it together around the waist with the help of an embellished belt.
