Is It Safe To Use Numbing Cream To Wear Heels?

While it’s usually safe to use an over-the-counter numbing cream to wear heels and other uncomfortable footwear, there are some things that you must keep in mind while using them.

1. The first and most important thing to keep in mind is to NEVER EVER use a numbing cream without consulting with your doctor. Always discuss it with your doctor to ensure it’s safe for you to use it after taking into consideration your health issues and condition.

2. Don’t forget to check in with your doctor for any allergies you may have or any medications that you are on to keep your health in check.

3. It’s best to avoid applying it on any open cuts or infections.

Pain is our body’s way of telling us that something is wrong.  And while it’s okay to ignore it once in a while, constantly ignoring it could lead to bigger health problems that you most definitely don’t want.
