Cannes Film Festival Is Here And We’re Throwing Back To Our Favourite Celeb Couples Moments On The Red Carpet
The prestigious Cannes Film Festival has been a witness to many big celebrity moments, some of which have remained a special amongst fans too. From big sartorial experiments, grand entries to couple PDA, the red carpet at the film festival has seen it all. And here we are looking back at all the popular, perhaps our favourite celebrity couples who walked the red carpet and made heads turn.
Prince Charles-Princess Diana
The Royal couple, marked its attendance at the film festival back in 1987. Wearing a black tuxedo, Prince Charles walked with his princess who appeared in a stunning blue gown, which now rests in the pages of history books as a memoir of her iconic sartorial style and significance of the day.
Priyanka Chopra- Nick Jonas
In a firsts fashion, PC and Nick Jonas walked the Cannes Film Festival after their wedding and well, had the world applauding in awe. Serving fashion goals in co-ordinated all-white looks, PC and Nick Jonas attended the film festival in 2019 and also offered some cute couple moments.
Jennifer Aniston- Brad Pitt
The very gorgeous Jennifer Aniston walked the red carpet alongside then partner Brad Pitt in 2004. Jennifer came dressed in a geometric, cream-coloured dress while Brad chose the usual black tuxedo for the main day.
Aishwarya Rai-Abhishek Bachchan
Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan marked their debut as a couple at Cannes Film Festival back in 2016. For the consecutive days at the festival, Abhishek relied on a crisp pantsuit, while Aishwarya was seen switching from sarees to gowns.
Blake Lively-Ryan Reynolds
Uff, this couple is at all times aww-dorable. Ryan and Blake walked the red carpet back in 2014, in co-ordinated monochrome ensembles. Blake Lively opted for a stunning white and black gown, with diamond jewels, as she walked hand-in-hand with her husband Ryan who looked edgy in a white shirt, matching bow-tie, layered under a crisp black suit.
Amal-George Clooney
The power couple walked the red carpet back in 2016 when they arrived to promote George’s Money Monster. George came dressed in a classic black tuxedo, and complimented Amal who opted for a sun-lit one-shouldered gown.
Salma Hayek-Francois Henri Pinault
Salma and Francois attended the Cannes Film Festival back in 2015. Dressed in the best of their formal wear collection, Salma was seen wearing a violet gown, while Francois relied on the usual navy pantsuit.

Nicole Kidman-Tom Cruise
Back in 1992, Tom Cruise arrived for the 45th Cannes Film Festival with his then-wife/actress Nicole Kidman, to promote their film Far And Away. A moment that now rests in history, saw Nicole Kidman in a stunning black gown, opera gloves, curls let loose, as she flashed her brightest smile alongside Tom Cruise.
