From Nicola Coughlan To Ncuti Gatwa, Celebs Arrived In Pink And Black For BAFTA TV Awards 2022
Sunday night was a special one for American television stars at the BAFTA TV Awards 2022. Gracing the red carpet laid in London’s Southbank’s Royal Festival Hall, celebs from Bridgerton‘s Nicola Coughlan to Sex Education‘s Ncuti Gatwa marked their stylish presence. Apart from the winning list that declared Killing Eve star Jodie Comer and Sean Bean as the big winners, celebrities made some impeccable style choices for their red carpet appearance. So, let’s take a look at some of our favourite well-dressed stars.
Nicola Coughlan
Our very own Bridgerton‘s Ms Penelope Featherington aka Lady Whistledown arrived in a voluminous pink gown. Opting for a piece from the designer label–Valentino’s latest Pink PP collection, Nicola’s outfit for the special event featured a one-shouldered neckline, studded with massive bow detailing and a ruffled hemline. Keeping her face makeup extremely simple, Nicola opted for subtle makeup and pink lip gloss. Loved it Barbie!

Ncuti Gatwa
Sex Education‘s beloved Eric and the next Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa was indeed the star of the red carpet. Ncuti came dressed in a black blazer with a twist. Featuring long leather fringes around the cut-out blazer, Ncuti opted for the label–Orange Culture’s designs and finished off the look with cross-strap sliders (which I believe were avoidable). He also flaunted his blonde hair and moustache on the red carpet. We love!

Joe Locke
Another star to arrive in the brightest shade of pink was Netflix’s hit show–Heartstopper‘s Joe Locke. The new-age star arrived in a stunning pink pantsuit by the label–AMI Alexandre Mattiussi. He further matched his pop pink blazer and matching pair of pants with a black sheer shirt and a very, very cute heart-shaped brooch.

Jodie Comer
Killing Eve star, Jodie Comer arrived in a black blazer dress to mark her attendance at the awards show. The custom-made dress from the label–Boss was an edgy take on red carpet dressing. And keeping it simple, Jodie paired the look with dainty earrings, ear cuff, neckpiece and rings.

Tom Daley
Popular British diver and a keen knitter (remember the knitting guy at Tokyo Olympics?) Tom Daley, too arrived for the special event. Tom chose designer–Bethany Williams’ printed pantsuit, which featured a half and half abstract print on a cropped blazer, wide-legged pants and a printed semi-sheer blouse. He further completed the look with chunky sneakers.

Jessica Plummer
Another star who made heads turn was The Girl Before fame Jessica Plummer. Dressed in an electric blue, glitter dress by label–Armani, Jessica dazzled in a long string dress, that featured red and blue flower detail on the neckline and red thread replete over the fabric. She further completed the look with cherry red pump heels and dainty gold jewels.

Michelle Keegan
While I am always excited to look out for Michelle Keegan’s sartorial experiments, this one channelled the minimalist dresser in her. Michelle opted for a pink, pleated shimmer Zuhair Murad gown for the red carpet. Featuring a one-shouldered neckline and a long train, Michelle’s elegant number also had a thigh-high slit, which she used to flaunt her three-strap metallic heels.
