BAFTA TV Awards 2022 Complete Winners List: Jodie Comer, Sean Bean, Matthew Macfadyen Take Home Trophies

The BAFTA TV Awards 2022 took place on Sunday, May 8, at London’s Royal Festival Hall. And apart from being a big night for all the British Television shows and stars, the ceremony was full of surprises as some favourites failed to take home trophies. Presented by Richard Ayoade, a large variety of shows were competing for the awards this year including Olivia Colman’s Landscapers, It’s A Sin, In My Skin, Alma’s Not Normal and Stath Lets Flats among several others. The award ceremony turned out to be a big night for Killing Eve star Jodie Comer who won her second leading actress BAFTA for the Covid-19 pandemic related drama Help. Sean Bean also took home a trophy for the best leading actor for the prison drama, Time. But the night turned out to be a bummer for Russell T Davies acclaimed series It’s A Sin which had six nominations but did not win in any of the categories. Sex Education actor Ncuti Gatwa, who happens to have bagged the role of the Time Lord in Doctor Who, was also one of the presenters of the evening. Having said that, let’s take a look at all the winners of the BAFTA TV Awards 2022.
