Navratri is just one week away and those enthusiastic about this nine-day festival have begun preparations for it as well! One of the most important things about Navratri is the shopping for all the designated coloured outfits for all the nice days. From chaniya cholis to oxidised jewellery, you start to see all the colourful things in the market a good 15 days before the first day of Navratri! Each year, the colours for all nine days are different and people are quite excited to adhere to these colours even when they go to the office. So, if you are one of those enthu people, who like to prepare their Navratri wardrobe well in advance, then here is the list of all the colours this year!

Day 1: September 26, 2022 – White

The very first colour for Navratri day 1 is white, which is the colour of peace and loyalty. The colour is associated with Goddess Brahmacharini. She holds a water pot with a lotus flower and a rosary in another.

Day 2: September 27, 2022 – Red

One of the brightest and most-loved colours on the spectrum is red. Red is the colour of Goddess Kali and signifies fierceness and power. Red is a colour you can never go wrong with while shopping for your Navratri wardrobe!

Day 3: September 28, 2022 – Royal Blue

You can dish out many royal outfits in the colour royal blue! The colour signifies divine energy and health. The colour is also associated with Kushmanda Devi.

Day 4: September 29, 2022 – Yellow

The colour yellow is associated with Goddess Skandmata, who is Lord Karthikeya’s mother. Most accessories and Navratri outfits are found in this colour during the festive season! This colour symbolises knowledge and learning.

Green is the colour of Goddess Katyayani, who is the goddess of nature, and also symbolises fertility and new beginnings. Green is also a primary colour that will be easily found in Navratri outfits and even accessories!

Day 6: October 1 – Grey

Grey is a colour that not many expect to be on the list of Navratri colours because obviously, it is quite dull in comparison with others. But grey is one of the important colours this time. It is associated with Goddess Parvati. The colour also symbolises the destruction of evil.

Day 7: October 2 – Orange

yet again, one of the brightest colours on the spectrum is back! Orange is associated with Goddess Shailputri and it symbolises warmth and energy. You will find many sarees, dresses and even accessories in this colour in the market to get all decked up for Navratri this year!

Day 8: October 3 – Peacock Green

Peacock green is a little unconventional of colour but beautiful, nonetheless! This colour is associated with Goddess Siddhidhatri and is deemed as the goddess who blesses devotees and grants their desires!
