The Indian fashion industry is a little too extra excited about the fabulous Dior show that is being held in India. The luxury fashion house is all set to showcase at Mumbai’s iconic Gateway Of India on March 30, 2023. The much-awaited presentation will exhibit Dior’s Maria Grazia Chiuri’s relationship with Indian craftsmanship and a long-lived and loved association with a Mumbai-based atelier, and craftsmanship school for women–Chanakya.

While Indian celebrities are already excited to take the front-row seats at the show, actress Maisie Williams is a little too extra thrilled. The Game Of Thrones star just arrived in Mumbai for the special showcase. The actress took it to her Instagram handle and gave her fans a little tour of her hotel room. Showing us around, Maisie seemed a little too excited looking at a portrait of Shrinathji, and tons of Dior goodies that welcomed her.
She further says, “I am in Mumbai, and I am losing my mind a little bit.” Like a child, she excitedly showed her fans some gifts that she received, and a little rangoli in her room. She was also seen wearing a knitted hat, sporting a welcome tika on her forehead.

For the past few days, many industry icons shared pictures of the gorgeous invitation by Dior that features the luxury label’s signature print and a little embroidery by the women of Chanakya. Some of the special goodies in the hamper include a yoga mat, a vanity kit, beauty products and more. Alongside the actress, we can expect many popular faces to take the front-row seat for the special showcase.
This special collection is Maria’s special ode to India’s flavourful culture and craftsmanship. Well, we are excited to watch all the sartorial drama unfold on March 23, 2023.
