From Shilpa Shetty To Mira Rajput, These Celeb Looks From Karva Chauth 2021 Are Great Outfit Inspo!

Aren’t we all excited for the upcoming festival season? Paired with the soothing winter atmosphere of cool winds and longer nights, I personally am ready to sit back and enjoy the familiar warmth of diyas, family bantering, and the delicious snacks and sweets made at home. The smell of fresh flowers and happiness in the air is always a fitting end to the year. The best part about the festive season is the shopping. I look forward to Diwali sales all year round just to splurge it all within a week (don’t we all?). Karva Chauth is yet another reason to don a new outfit. The trending ethnic fashion of the season is very exciting to witness as there are always creative blends between the conventional and the contemporary. In fact, validating my obsession with Indian wear is this list of celeb Karva Chauth looks, from Shilpa Shetty to Mira Rajput, Ishita Dutta and Disha Parmar, that is full of creative yet classic looks you can take inspiration from for the festive and wedding seasons!

1. Shilpa Shetty

Shilpa Shetty shared pictures on Instagram, wishing her followers a happy Karva Chauth. Along with a warm smile, she was seen showing off her simple yet elegant red suit adorned with golden patterns on it. She accessorised it with a traditional chooda and mangalsutra. She definitely proved that beauty lies within simplicity.

2. Sonali Bendre

Sonali Bendre was seen celebrating Karva Chauth as she took to Instagram with a touching caption, “I have always believed that traditions are what you make of them… to me they are a bridge between the past, present and future. I respect where they came from but never hesitated to give it my own meaning. Karva Chauth is one such festival… to me, it has always been a celebration of family and friends that are family.”

Bendre paired this heart touching caption with pictures of herself. She was seen posing in a baby pink and orange traditional outfit, rich with heavy embroidery. She added finishing touches to her look with some light makeup, wavy hairdo and flowers adorning her luscious locks.

3. Yami Gautam

Yami Gautam was seen on Instagram sharing her excitement for her first Karva Chauth with her followers. She uploaded a selfie of herself sporting a bright smile, looking gorgeous in a classic red saree with a gold zari. To add to the ongoing theme of red in her outfit she applied deep red lipstick, red bindi and sindoor. She accessorised it with long dangling gold earrings and the Bvlgari mangalsutra (yep, the Priyanka Chopra one) to it. Red is definitely her colour!

5. Ishita Dutta:

Ishita Dutta incorporated both—the modern and the classic—by wearing a luxurious deep red lehenga set. The blouse had a touch of playfulness amongst all the regal vibes with tassels daintily hanging off the sleeves. She paired this well-balanced look with heavy gold accessories: a kada, necklace, earrings and maang tika. She and husband, Vatsal Sheth, looked like royals as they posed for her Instagram in their majestic outfits.

8. Natasha Dalal

9. Dhanashree Verma

Dhanashree Verma was seen posing with husband Yuzvendra Chahal and also posted a video of her doing one of the Karva Chauth rituals. She showed off a cream lehenga set which was decorated with colourful and geometric patterns. I absolutely love the modern take on a traditional outfit to make it lighter to wear and move around in! And who does not like light and comfortable clothing? She paired her ensemble with dangling jhumkas and necklaces.

10. Mira Rajput

Mira Rajput showed a modern perspective of Karva Chauth through her outfit and Instagram caption. She talked about Karva Chauth being a time where she can control her mind and urges and keep her mind off food by focusing on other activities to celebrate. Her caption was paired with a picture of herself in contemporary clothing. She wore a chic pink sharara with a peplum kurta. Mira Rajput finished the look with silver dangling earrings, a minimalistic hairdo and makeup look.
