Red carpet events are back in full swing, and celebrities are gearing up to make the most out of it. Last night, stars from Kriti Sanon, Sara Ali Khan to Janhvi Kapoor arrived for the Nykaa Femina Beauty Awards in full swag. In attendance were the best of ballroom gowns, edgy designs, and some red carpet PDA as well. Let’s take a look at some of our favourite looks from the evening!

Kriti Sanon

Kriti Sanon’s newly updated style is catching the internet’s attention. Be it film promotions or red-carpet appearances, Sanon’s revised closet is excellent. The actress picked up a well-constructed, pearl-white gown by designer–Surya Sarkar. The silhouette featured an extreme midriff cut, embellished with floral accents. The thigh-high slit was further decorated with fabric trims of the same shade, and a white wave on one of the shoulders. Styled by Sukriti Grover, Kriti accessorised the look using silver ear-cuffs, and beach curls.

Malaika Arora

Another attendee in white was actress Malaika Arora. Arora walked in, wearing a gorgeous ballroom gown by Rachel Gilbertau. Unlike her most red carpet picks, this long-trailing, Cinderella-silhouette was a dreamy design featuring a heavy flounce and off-shouldered neckline. The bodice exhibited intricate drape detailing, supported by a floral bow accent on one side. Malaika completed the look with a classic red lip colour, and hair sealed at the back.

Kiara Advani

Actress Kiara Advani really cooked up a fiery look to walk the red carpet. Styled by Lakshmi Lehr, Kiara showed up in a black gown by label–Gauri And Nainika. The supremely stylish silhouette featured an extended slit, with a curved flap. The long-trailing design also featured a backless, two-strap closure, and a plunging neckline. To accessorise, Advani took inspiration from Deepika Padukone’s 2016 look from IIFA, where she styled a Saisha Shinde gown with a pearl necklace.

Janhvi Kapoor

Actress Janhvi Kapoor has a stock of fishtail gowns, and this latest piece from her collection is proof. Arriving for the red carpet, Kapoor slid into an electric green number by designer–Amit Aggarwal. The cross-strap, midriff-baring silhouette presented the signature fabric and embroidery by the designer in the same colour family. The mermaid-esqué skirt presented geometric lines in green and complimented Kapoor’s physique. This time, Janhvi skipped accessories, and instead picked up a shade of salmon pink to colour her eyelids, and lips.

Katrina Kaif

Unlike the rest, Katrina toned it down with her selection of a red carpet gown and picked up a disco-chic number with tons of glitter. Skipping on longer trails, Katrina chose to wear a simple, holographic number with a cowl neckline, and noodle strap sleeves. Kaif further added a pair of diamond hoop earrings and decided to go easy with her face makeup.

Sara Ali Khan

Sara chose to take a classic style road, with her choice of a black gown by Self Portrait. The front, cut-out number featured bold, cross-sign brooches in the front, and two, sharp cut-out details in the centre. Rounding up an extremely simple look, Sara slayed the thigh-high slit and slid into a pair of nude heels. For hair, she resorted to basic curls and avoided accessorising. She could’ve done a better job!
