Exclusive: We Got Ananya Panday To Spill Some Tea In A Rapid Fire, Post Her Showstopper Moment At FDCI X Lakmé Fashion Week 2022
The stunning Ananya Panday walked the scintillating ramp at the Lakmé Absolute Grand Finale for designers Falguni Shane Peacock. Wearing a dramatic pink glitter gown by the designer duo, Ananya channelled her party mood as she walked the ramp, followed by a long glitter train. Keeping away from accessories, Ananya styled her brunette curls with pop glitter eyes, loads of shimmer and silver strokes gracing the inner corners. Closing the show for Falguni Shane Peacock on the final day of FDCI X Lakmé Fashion Week 2022, Ananya’s outfit was a part of the designer duo’s latest ‘Earthbound’ collection, that brought home the sparkle of early 80’s through its glitter loaded line-up. And taking us through her experience of walking the ramp after a long halt of two years, (of course because of Covid-19), Ananya answered some of our rapid fire questions and shared some insights about her inspiration and favourite styles.

Q. How exciting was your collaboration with Falguni Shane Peacock?
Ananya Panday: It was super exciting to be back walking at the Lakmé Absolute Grand Finale and this time for Falguni Shane Peacock and I loved the collection and the bright, glamour and sparkly outfit I was wearing.

Q. Who are you channelling when you have to walk down the ramp?
Ananya Panday: I mean, I tried to channel Cindy Crawford, but I ended up channelling Donald duck.

Ananya Panday: I am obsessed with glitter.
Q. A makeup trend that never goes off style for you?
Ananya Panday: A smile, wait no that’s so generic right (*smiles*)? My actual answer is –lots of blush.
Q. An onscreen character from a movie or a show who’s style you’re obsessed with.
Ananya Panday: I’ve always have always loved Serena from Gossip Girl. I think she’s like my OG style icon.
