Deepika Padukone, And Ranveer Singh Both Chose Pantsuits For A Red Carpet And Made Our Jaws Drop
Find me a better match than Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh. I swear, I will wait. There is nothing that this celebrity couple cannot do, or fail to win at. Last night, the couple packed a powerful look for a special red carpet-appearance at this year’s GQ Awards. For the Padukone-Singh duo, event-dressing was a task, they had been winning for years, hence confidence joined them as a plus one to the venue. Picking up two spicy designs in pantsuits, the couple twinned in two uniquely similar ways.

For the woman in red, our global star–Deepika walked the carpet in a mirchi-red suit, and we obviously went gaga over her. Styled by her constant, and closet builder–Shaleena Nathani, Deepika’s pantsuit was a loaned piece from the shelves of label–Magda Butrym. The classic Butrym red had an unfinished business in Padukone’s wardrobe, hence its return turned out to be a spectacular look. The bright cherry colour guided the silhouette, and cut it into three halves.

As seen on Deepika, we spotted her affection towards anti-fit blazers, as she found a pick in one, and styled the red coverup, with a pair of retro-adored bellbottoms. Layered beneath this set was a multi, cut-out bralette, that thankfully matched the shade of red. What we loved about Padukone’s interest in irregular, long sleeves was its team-up with Cartier wrist jewellery. Sealing the ensemble, the Gehraiyaan star, picked up a pair of red heels and dressed her tresses into a chic hair bun. For makeup again, Deepika trusted a thick layer of black winged eyeliner and dipped her lips in a mix of blush pink, and caramel gloss.

Posing with Deepika, was the life of every party, and her husband/actor–Ranveer Singh. Singh surprised onlookers with his crisp curls, which left little time for our eyeballs, to scan the rest of his look. Adding his name to the most stylish men in the world was Ranveer’s latest collaboration with Gucci, as he whipped up a new look in a piece from the luxury label. A dragon-core aesthetic, ran through his ensemble, as his pants suggested an affection for the fiery motif.

The four-piece set described Singh’s style at best, with a marriage between sap green, and dramatic lapels. A part of his look, was a green shirt, half-vest, a black blazer, and dramatic pants. What we loved about his look was the presence of a chandelier-chic accent, replacing a classic tie. And the elements that welcomed our hate were his tidy white shoes. Mixing, and matching, Singh sealed his eyes with bold sunglasses and posed for the paparazzi.
