It’s Day 3 at the year’s Cannes Film Festival and our favourite divas are killing it and how. I mean, it was yesterday only when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan walked the scintillating carpet, followed by actresses Pooja Hegde, Tamannaah Bhatia and Helly Shah making an appearance at the film festival. And now after skipping a day on the red carpet, our very own jury member–Deepika Padukone has arrived in a red gown only to surprise us.

Yes, all set for the big evening, Deepika Padukone has opted for another of her favourite label–Louis Vuitton to bring some glam to her red carpet look. Wearing LV’s signature romantic red, Deepika’s attire featured a two-layer tulle finish, that incorporated a peplum bodice and plunging neckline. Deepika further teamed her red strap sleeve gown with a fine diamond neckpiece from Cartier and stayed away from any further accessorising. Sealing her hair into a ponytail with a puff, Deepika made a statement in messy yet gelled up hair.

For makeup, DP remained away from experiments and settled for a red lip shade, with some shimmer sprinkled on her eyelids. The smashing look comes after Deepika’s big red carpet moment on Day 1 in label, Sabyasachi’s saree. This look is definitely an understated spin to Deepika’s eye for glamorised styling.
