The first Monday of May saw several global stars walk the red carpet on the occasion of The Met Gala 2022. The fashion event took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. This year’s Met Gala received mixed reactions from the audience towards the stars’ outfits and a few were also severely mocked. But amidst all this, this event was definitely special for Bridgerton fans as they saw their favourite Simone Ashley aka Kate Sharma made her grand debut! Oh, how we loved her look for the event!

The 27-year-old actress wore an ensemble by the Italian fashion brand Moschino. She wore a golden shimmery bustier, a black maxi skirt that sported a huge bow, and she took a black shawl over her arms. Simone sported a slick side-parted ponytail. Her look was accessorised with a diamond-studded choker and tear-drop earrings. It wasn’t just Simone who made her smashing debut at the Met Gala this year. Phoebe Dynevor, who played the female lead role of Daphne, in the Bridgerton season one also graced the red carpet. She wore a sheer frilled black Louis Vuitton dress for the night and, oh my, she looked stunning in it! Her hair was left open and her look was accessorised with a pair of earrings and a ring.
