Bhumi, Neena Gupta, More Stars Who Gave Red Carpet Dressing A Twist
We loved the saree game!
Last night Bollywood arrived for the Filmfare OTT awards to celebrate the talent that brought wonderful stories straight to our homes. In attendance were not only some of the biggest stars but fashion, which was par excellence. With sarees, were also crisp black suits, which made the red carpet event look more wonderful. And as the awards night had many returning homes with a trophy for their work, we are here to appreciate the best-dressed stars from the evening.
Bhumi Pednekar
Uff Bhumi, you’re just killing it! The actress who has been cooking up magic with multi-hyphenate Rhea Kapoor brought some sass to her saree. On Pednekar, we spotted a gorgeous silk saree in abstract animal print by label–Ekaya. The heavily bronzed attire was further draped in a front-pallu style, to put her sultry blouse on display. With lace-up detailing in the front, Bhumi gave the look a fabulous update with delicate ear-cuffs and bold eye makeup. For hair, she trusted a neat bun, and well, just slayed for the pictures.

Neena Gupta
As usual, actress Neena Gupta brought her fashion A-game to the red carpet in a gorgeous saree. Pulled out from her treasured collection was a delicate, yet powerful pearl saree in white. On the actress we spotted a shimmer pallu, resting on an intricately, pearl-decorated sheer blouse, which she teamed with the famous Jacquemus mini bag in white. She also coupled the look with a pair of tinted sunglasses and ear danglers in gold.

Mithila Palkar
The OTT darling, actress Mithila Palkar was in the mood for some Barbiecore, as she arrived in a structured blazer dress. The anti-fit, sequin number on the actress was styled using a 70’s inspired, retro ponytail, and glossy makeup. She further balanced the glam on her look with a pair of solid-hued heels.

Kritika Kamra
Another of our favourite celebrities from the list of most well-dressed stars was actress–Kritika Kamra. Much like many celebrities who are loving cut-outs, the actress also gave a nod to the year’s biggest trend by wearing a black, velvet gown. The front-slit, padded-shouldered silhouette was accessorised by Kamra using a three-tier diamond neckpiece, and her hair was sealed in a romantic bun.

Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor
Another member from the Kapoor khandaan who has great taste in style, arrived wearing a suit, but not as boring as you think. The actor picked up a plaid pantsuit in ash grey, to layer over a black t-shirt. He further styled the look using a pair of white sneakers, and sunglasses.

Anil Kapoor
Like son like dad, actor Anil Kapoor decided to play safe in a basic suit but aced that too. On him, we spotted a velvet monochrome navy blazer, and pant set, which was accessorised with a satin tie in a shade lighter. The actor trusted the power of colour-on-colour ensembles and wore them to the award show.

Shweta Tripathi
Actress Shweta Tripathi’s version of a classic saree was very refreshing. Much like Neena ji, Shweta played with pearls in a pale, ivory saree. The silhouette was teamed with a strapless bandeau blouse in powder pink. The delightful addition in the piece was a layer of pearl lines, that ran over the saree, and added a hint of glam to the entire look. She masterfully styled her hair with gel, and chandelier earrings, that were the perfect match for her outfit.
