Beyoncé is currently making waves on the internet for her ongoing Renaissance World Tour. For the biggest tour in a long time, the iconic singer has packed a closet full of iconic designs. In pictures from the latest performance, we spotted the star wearing a hi-tech, colour-changing gown. The custom-made design by Japanese brand–Anrealage features a combination of colourful triangles.

Picked from the designer house’s 2023-24 autumn-winter collection, displayed at the Paris Fashion Week, the design switches into a gamut of colours during the live performance. Displayed in pictures, the Stockholm tour featured the star opening the show in a colour-changing gown. Clinging to her body was this monumental piece, incorporating a white, triangular-textured robe. The asymmetrical overlay of triangles on the white silhouette includes a feature of changing colours, that instantly illuminate a variety of shades when exposed to UV lights.

The stained glass pattern exhibits an ombré design right at the centre and adds a dual-toned effect to the entire look. What adds to the sartorial drama is the incorporation of matching headgear, displaying a family of colours, twinning with her robe. To complete the ensemble, Beyoncé adds a pair of white sunglasses, with her blonde hair kept open. Reacting to the hi-tech design, the internet looked quite surprised and hailed the queen for the iconic behaviour. Check out some of our favourite reactions.
