Worst Dressed
1. Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri Dixit opted for a blue sequin co-ord look with floral embroidery, a choice that veered slightly towards visual overload. The intricate floral patterns on the blazer and sheer pants clashed, making it a bit overwhelming for the eyes.
2. Nushratt Bharuccha
Nushratt Bharuccha’s black and white ensemble missed the mark, featuring a white crop top paired with a matching cape and a mermaid-style ankle-length skirt that fell flat. The lack of dynamic elements left the overall look feeling uninspired.
3. Karan Johar
Continuing his penchant for all-black ensembles, Karan Johar appeared in a band gala suit with minimal sequin embroidery on the borders. While black is a classic choice, the outfit failed to make a significant impact, blending into the sea of dark hues.
4. Shriya Saran
Shriya Saran’s sheer black saree adorned with sequins didn’t quite align with the event’s vibe. The simplicity of the outfit, though elegant in its own right, seemed a bit subdued for the glitz and glamour of IFFI Goa.
5. Vijay Sethupathi
Vijay Sethupathi’s solid deep lavender shirt paired with black trousers fell short of the red carpet standard, lacking the panache expected at such prestigious events.
Best Dressed
1. Shahid Kapoor
Stealing the spotlight, Shahid Kapoor exuded suave charm in a crisp black tuxedo. The double-breasted blazer and trousers were complemented by gold glasses and a sexy buzzcut haircut, showcasing Kapoor’s ability to effortlessly raise the fashion quotient.
2. Divya Dutta
Opting for a stunning traditional look, Divya Dutta donned an emerald green saree paired with a gold blouse. The middle-parted bun adorned with gajra added an extra touch of elegance to her ensemble, making her a standout on the red carpet.
