Famous Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh is married to Bodyguard fame Hazel Keech. The duo tied the knot in 2016 and have had two kids since then. For the unversed, he is the son of Yograj Singh, a former cricketer, who recently spoke about his son’s marriage. What Yuvraj Singh’s Father Said
During a recent conversation with Krishnank Atrey, Yograj Singh revisited the society, urging him to get his son married when he was in his 20s. But he disapproved of the idea of Yuvraj Singh getting married at the time, as he wanted him to focus on cricket. And when he finally turned 38, Yograj permitted him to get married. Yograj asked his son to choose his own life partner, but gave him one strange request. He said, “I did request him to change the breed. People hearing this might oppose it, but we wanted an Irish or English girl in the family. And then Hazel (Keech) came into our lives.”
Yograj’s daughter-in-law, Hazel, is half British and half Mauritian. During the same interview, Yograj highlighted his grandchildren, who treat him as a friend. Yuvraj and Hazel welcomed two children: Orion, a male, and Aura, a daughter. Yograj described his grandchildren, Orion and Aura, as ‘gorgeous’. Yograj revealed that he refers to Hazel as his daughter, rather than his daughter-in-law. Singh said that Yuvraj often called him names like ‘Hitler’ and ‘dragon’ after he pushed him too hard towards cricket.
