X Reacts To Ramayana Trailer
For the unversed, the trailer was released at 4:15 AM, during the bramha muhurat. It starts with a glimpse of Ravana (Yash) arriving and knocking through a huge door, marking the beginning of “Ravana Raaj.” As fear spreads, Lord Vishnu is reborn as Prince Ram, the son of Ayodhya’s King Dasharatha played by Arun Govil. It then follows Rama and Lakshman (Ravi Dubey)‘a battle against demons, before Kaikeyi’s promise leads to their exile along with Sita. The trailer does not show any glimpses of Lord Hanuman.
After watching the #Ramayana trailer, three major questions came to my mind –
Where was Bajrangbali ? Why was there not a single frame or scene of Lord Hanuman in the entire trailer?Glorification of Ravana: Did anyone else feel like the trailer attempted to glorify Ravana ?… pic.twitter.com/xFI5caPN6d

Ramayana trailer came out better than I expected. Only thing is that the entire thing looks like a video game or AI generated. Should’ve tried to keep it more natural.

Many users took to their X (Previously Twitter) accounts and praised the trailer. Many talked about how much they loved the VFX along with the background music and colour grading. Another user stated that this trailer turned out to be much bigger than the promotional video and that they were surprised to see everyone playing their roles very well. Others also pointed out that even though it was a 4-minute long trailer, they wanted to watch more. Users also compared it to Prabhas’s Adipurush and stated that the Namit Malhotra film was executed much better.
But not everyone was as impressed by the Ramayana trailer and pointed out that it did not live upto the enormous budget that the makers showed off. One user wrote that the film didn’t justify the Rs 4000 crore budget and that it only led to the audience’s expectations to be high. Others pointed out that while the trailer had interesting details like the costumes and overall visuals, it looked more AI than natural.
