The latest reports around Wonder Woman’s exit from the DC Universe have the internet extremely shocked. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman 3 is not ready to return. With the recent shift in the management, newly hired co-CEOs Peter Safran, and James Gunn have decided to scrap the title off the list. The reason behind this call is the script which director Patty Jenkins submitted, but it did not seem to align with the likings of the studio.

As suggested by the reports, the makers are yet to respond to this news. But what has us more confused is Wonder Woman–Gal Gadot’s latest post. Sharing a picture of herself, a day before the news came out, Gal reminisced about the time she was announced to play the titular character. Adding to the caption, Gal also teased her fans with the arrival of the third instalment of the superhero film. Much like Gal, we too are hoping for a third part. This news surely has fans of the DC Universe upset.
While some expressed their sadness, some others enjoyed a meme fest. As per rumours, it is not just Wonder Woman on the radar for the newly appointed CEOs, but Man Of Steel 2 will also say goodbye to the slate. The refreshed management is shaking things up, as a result of which some of these popular names from the DC universe will either be cancelled or see an end after last sequels.
