OG Wonder Woman Actor Lynda Carter Says The DC Superhero Has Always Been A Queer Icon. We Stan!
You know, I believe that superheroes play a very important part in our lives. I remember when I was a kid, I basically worshipped Spiderman because I was a loser in school but he made me believe that I can be a superhero too. And recently Lynda Carter – the actress who portrayed the role of Wonder Woman in the live-action television series in the 1970s said that the DC superhero has always been a queer icon and the superhero of bisexuals. That is definitely a wonder!

However, many people expressed their disagreement and pointed out that the DC Superhero is not a superhero for gays which was too dramatic, to be honest. After that, Lynda Carter mentioned that Wonder Woman is a superhero for bisexuals and not for gays. That was so on point, Lynda!
You're right. She's a superhero for bisexuals! https://t.co/G2m7guvmYc https://t.co/MLssq1yYiK

In another tweet, Lynda Carter added that if people want to argue that Wonder Woman is not a queer or trans icon, then they are not paying enough attention. She added that her fans still say that the iconic character helped them during the time when they were “closeted,” and it reminds her that the role was so special.

I didn't write Wonder Woman, but if you want to argue that she is somehow not a queer or trans icon, then you're not paying attention.
Every time someone comes up to me and says that WW helped them while they were closeted, it reminds me how special the role is.
