Akanksha Chamola was reportedly born in 1991 in Mumbai and hails from a Pahadi family. The 35-year-old completed her post-graduation in commerce before transitioning to acting full-time. She made her TV debut in 2015 with Swaragini and eventually made a name for herself. Since then, she has worked in shows like Bhootu and Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, and has also featured in the OTT project, Dil Dhokha Aur Desire. Apart from this, she has also featured in Suyyash Rai’s music video called Nazm-E-Kamaal. Her social media has 977,000 followers and often shares her love for travelling and yoga.

Before entering Lock Upp Season 2, she was a famous face as fans loved her with Gaurav Khanna. The duo became a big talking point after Chamola appeared during the Bigg Boss 19 Family Week to support Khanna. But what caught many fans’ attention was Gaurav talking about Akanksha not wanting to have children on national television and how he had accepted this. It further deepened after Gaurav admitted that he did wish to start a family someday but was just respecting his wife’s choice since it was a “love marriage.”
