This week has been excessively hectic, filled with work and extremely long hours, hasn’t it? Well, thankfully, we can kick back and wash off the stress levels that we have accumulated, with the fun and fabulous releases that are coming in this week. This week also brings us a few days closer to the Spooky festival of Halloween and we all know what this means, a week full of fun, exciting, thrilling and of course, spooky releases including Black Adam, The School for Good and Evil, Unsolved Mysteries Volume 3, 28 Days Haunted, Barbarians Season 2 and various other titles, to watch and stream.

1. Black Adam – Theatres

3. Unsolved Mysteries Volume 3 – Netflix

Unsolved Mysteries is back just in time for Halloween. The rebooted docuseries seeks to tell you numerous true crime and spooky stories that have unresolved endings, that can leave you feeling a chill in your spine. Stream the first three episodes on Netflix, from October 18th onwards. While the remainder can from streamed from October 25th and November 1st onwards.

4. 28 Days Haunted – Netflix

Three teams spend 28 days in some of the most haunted locations in the United States for an experiment based on the theories of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. What will they end up discovering? Stream this extremely spooky show on Netflix, from October 21st onwards.

5. Barbarians Season 2 – Netflix

One year after the Varus Battle, the Roman troops have returned to Germania, stronger than ever, and Ari is confronted with his Roman past once more. His brother has joined the Roman side to punish Ari for his betrayal of Rome. So, how will everything unfold this time around? Stream this awesome series on Netflix, from October 21st onwards.

6. The Stranger – Netflix

A web of secrets sends family man Adam Price on a desperate quest to discover shocking, spine-chilling and surprising truths about the people closest to him. What will he end up finding out and will he be able to deal with them? Stream this entertaining and thrilling series on Netflix, from October 19th onwards.

7. The Peripheral – Prime Video

Based on William Gibson’s novel, the science fiction series stars Chloe Grace Moretz and Jack Reynor. It dares to follow the story of a woman who discovers a connection to an alternate reality. What will she be able to achieve with this newfound skill? Stream this show on Prime Video, from October 21st onwards.

8. Raymond & Ray – Apple Tv+

Half-brothers Raymond and Ray reunite at their father’s funeral, with whom they both had a terrible relationship. They both view the funeral as a chance to reconcile their feelings and reinvent themselves for the better. Will they succeed in their missions? Stream this show on Apple Tv+, from October 21st onwards.

9. Tripling Season 3 – Zee5

The Sharma siblings played by Sumeet Vyas, Maanvi Gagroo and Amol Parashar, reunite for season 3 of the fan-favourite drama comedy show. 10. The Serpent Queen – Lionsgate Play

Based on the book Catherine de Medici, the drama series features Samantha Morton as an orphaned Italian teenager who is married into the 16th-century French court from where she accrues power and ultimately rules the country for 50 years. What happened under her rule? Stream this movie on Lionsgate Play, from October 21st onwards.

11. Four More Shots Please Season 3 – Prime Video

A tearful farewell, a few laughs, some tears, and a heavy heart. This season, that is how we perceive the four girls. The four of them only want to find closure this season, but sometimes the final chapters are the most difficult ones. Will the girls be able to hold through this season? 12. Bimbisara – Zee5

The terrible monarch Bimbisara of ancient times is betrayed by his brother, imprisoned in a mirror, and transported to the present. Bimbisara looks for the mirror to free himself as he longs to return to his empire. Will he succeed and what will happen if he manages to free himself? 13. Ammu – Prime Video

This is Prime Video’s first Telugu original movie which will start streaming, from 19 October onwards. Created by the filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj as creative producer, and produced by Kalyan Subramanian and Kaarthekeyen Santhanam of Stone Bench Films, the film is a drama thriller starring Aishwarya Lekshmi, Naveen Chandra and Simha.
