What To Watch This Week Of February 26 To March 3: Laapataa Ladies, Maamla Legal Hai, Operation Valentine, And More

The upcoming week from February 26 to March 3 is the perfect blend of movies and shows to dive in, catering to all your binge-watching desires. Leading the pack is Ravi Kishan with a fresh courtroom comedy series called Maamla Legal Hai, while Sunil Grover returns for the second season of the murder-mystery comedy Sunflower 2. Additionally, Kiran Rao’s much-anticipated Laapata Ladies starring Sparsh Shrivastava, and Pratibha Ranta and the digital premiere of Poor Things, starring Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, and Mark Ruffalo, are on the horizon.

1. Maamla Legal Hai (Netflix)

Maamla Legal Hai is set in the lively District Court of Patparganj, New Delhi. The show stars VD Tyagi, Naila Grewal, Vikram Pratap, Amit Vikram Pandey, and Nidhi Bisht and will be set to release on March 1 on Netflix.

2. Sunflower season 2 (Zee5)

Sunflower’s season 2 ramps up its unique mix of humour and mystery, as Sunil Grover reprises his role as Sonu Singh. With law enforcement digging deeper into the story, the narrative unfolds with even more surprising twists. Vikas Bahl and season director Navin Gujral collaborated on the creation of Sunflower Season 2, set to premiere on March 1st on ZEE5.

3. Operation Valentine (Theatres)

Operation Valentine is a historical action thriller based on the Pulwama terrorist attack of 2019. Directed by Shakti Pratap Singh Hada, it features Varun Tej, Manushi Chhillar, Navdeep, and Mir Sarwar in important roles. The movie hits theatres on March 1.

4. Laapataa Ladies (Theatres)

Directed by Kiran Rao, Laapataa Ladies adds humour to the mix with its portrayal of mixed-up patnis. Returning to the director’s chair, Rao promises a fresh take on comedy. Nitanshi Goel, Sparsh Shrivastava, and Savita Malviya star. The film is scheduled for a release in theatres on March 1.

5. Dange (Theatres)

Director Bejoy Nambiar’s Dange is an action-packed film set on campus. It features Harshvardhan Rane and Ehan Bhatt. The movie draws comparisons to Mani Ratnam’s Yuva. Additionally, it will be released in Tamil, starring Arjun Das and Kalidas Jayram. The film releases on March 1 in theatres.

6. Kaagaz 2 (Theatres)

Kaagaz 2, a sequel to the earlier OTT release Kaagaz, continues Satish Kaushik’s legacy. Directed by V K Prakash, the film stars Satish and Anupam Kher, alongside Aniruddh Dave and Neena Gupta. It promises a compelling storyline. The film hits theatres on March 1.

7. Poor Things (Prime Video)

Poor Things, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, follows Bella Baxter, portrayed by Emma Stone, on an odyssey in Victorian London after a brain transplant. Joined by Willem Dafoe and Mark Ruffalo, the film challenges norms and explores identity. Poor Things is set to stream on Prime Video starting February 27.

8. Priscilla (Mubi)

Priscilla delves into the life of Priscilla Beaulieu, Elvis Presley’s wife, who met him at 14. Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi lead the cast. The film arrives on Mubi on March 1.

9. May December (Theatres)

A married couple faces challenges when an actress arrives to research their past for a film. Directed by Todd Haynes, starring Natalie Portman, Chris Tenzis, and Charles Melton. May December is set to release in theatres on March 1.

10. Anyone but You (Prime Video)

Anyone but You, a rom-com starring Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell, reimagines Shakespear’s Much Ado About Nothing for modern times. Streaming on Prime Video February 27.
