It’s no surprise that we’re all slowly turning into night owls who sit and binge on films and shows. What To Watch This Week

1. Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai (Zee5)

Starring Manoj Bajpayee, this film is inspired by true events. It follows the journey of Advocate PC Solanki, who successfully prosecuted Asaram Bapu for the rape of a minor. It releases on the OTT platform Zee5 on May 23.

2. Jogira Sara Ra Ra (Theatres)

Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Neha Sharma, Sanjay Mishra and Zarina Wahab, this film is set to release on the big screens across India on May 26.

3. Hard Feelings (Netflix)

Scheduled to release on May 24, this coming-of-age drama film follows two best friends who struggle with their growing urges and their feelings for each other.

4. City Of Dreams Season 3 (Disney+ Hotstar)

Starring Atul Kulkarni, Priya Bapat, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Sushant Singh, Eijaz Khan and Rannvijay Singha season 3 of this political drama premieres on the OTT platform on May 26.

5. Victim/Suspect (Netflix)

Set to release on May 23, this Netflix documentary follows Emmy-winning investigative journalist Rachel de Leon as she investigates a series of cases where young women were not only being ignored by the authorities after reporting sexual assault but were being charged with crimes.

6. Aazam (Theatres)

Set in the underbelly of Mumbai, this film starring Jimmy Shergill, Sanjeev Tyagi, Indraneil Sengupta, and Abhimanyu Singh revolves around the succession battle of underworld don Nawab Khan. It releases on May 26 in theatres across the country.

7. The Ultimatum: Queer Love (Netflix)

Set to release on May 24, this popular reality show showcases 5 queer couples who are struggling as one partner is looking to settle down but the other isn’t sure about it.

8. FUBAR (Netflix)

Arnold Schwarzenegger is making his OTT debut with this spy-adventure series that follows a father-daughter duo, who are both CIA agents but have been hiding it from each other. What happens when the truth is uncovered? It is set to premiere on May 25 on the OTT giant, Netflix.

9. Beau Is Afraid (Theatres)

Starring Joaquin Phoenix, this film is a dark-comedy horror film. It revolves around a very anxious person named Beau and his relationship with his mother and what happens when he starts witnessing supernatural things after the death of his mom. This dark-comedy horror drama hits the big screen on May 26.

10. The Little Mermaid (Theatres)

Halle Bailey’s Disney classic film follows mermaid princess Ariel who falls for a human, Prince Eric and cracks a deal with sea witch Ursula to follow her love to the world above water.

11. About My Father (Theatres)

This comedy-drama film is loosely based on the lead actor Sebastian Maniscalco’s life and his relationship with his father. The screenplay of this film has been written by the actor along with Austen Earl. About My Father hits the big screens across India on May 26.

12. American Born Chinese (Disney+ Hotstar)

Starring Ben Wang, Jimmy Liu and Michelle Yeoh among others, this action comedy series follows a tenth-grade student who is struggling to fit in with his age group when he is asked to show a new exchange student around which soon lands him in a battle between the Chinese gods. This eight-episode series will be available on Disney+ Hotstar from May 24 onwards.

Apart from these new titles, the latest episode of Succession dropped on May 22 on Jio Cinema. The latest episode of Riverdale Season 7 is also set to hit Netflix on May 24. You might also want to gear up to watch the finale of Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Citadel which drops on May 26 on Prime Video. Marvelous Mrs Maisel S5 finale, episode 9 drops on May 26 as well. Indian horror-comedy Bhediya is set to release on Jio Cinema on Friday while Fahad Faasil’s Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum releases on Jio Cinema on the same day.
