And in October, with the list of movies and shows releasing, the month is going to be a good one for all the movie buffs like me. From rom-coms to thrillers and horrors, we are going to get a good range of genres that will cater to all of our moods. Well, talking about this week’s watchlist, you should be sorted because we have got you covered. Starting with the movie list, this week of October, there is a really interesting variety of them releasing across the OTT platforms. You might find your genre of interest in this for sure.
Maja Maa
The movie will feature the very talented actress, Madhuri Dixit who will play the role of a Gujarati mother. You will also see other actors like Gajraj Rao, Barkha Singh Shristi Shrivastava, and Ritwik Bhowmik in lead roles. Maja Maa is directed by Anand Tiwary and will stream on Amazon Prime Video from October 6.
Ticket To Paradise
A rom-com that will see the pairing of Julia Roberts and George Clooney sounds exciting already. It will release on Netflix on October 6.
Catherine Called Birdy
A comedy-drama to add some happiness to the monotony of life, this movie will feature, Bella Ramsey as Lady Catherine. Directed by Dunham, the movie is based on a novel by Karen Cushman. Catherine Called Birdy will show you how the young Catherine will always thwart her father’s plans of getting her married to a rich man.

A thriller starring Maika Monroe, Karl Glusman, and Burn Gorman and directed by Chloe Okuno will be released on October 7, on BookMyShow Stream. Okay, the movie will be a story about a young woman who moved to Bucharest with her husband and family. She starts to notice a man constantly watching her from across the street. The woman will apparently suspect him to be a serial killer and how this goes will only be known when we watch the movie. Well sounds, interesting though!

Gaalipata 2
A Kannada romantic comedy that is back with its sequel. Directed by Yogaraj Bhat, the story will revolve around three best friends and their love life. It will be set at two different time zones. It is all set to release on Zee 5, on October 5.
Luckiest Girl Alive
A mystery drama, directed by Mike Barker and will feature Mila Kunis in the lead role. This movie is also based on a novel of the same name. It will release on Netflix on October 7.
Doll House
Directed by Maria Ancheta, Doll House will feature Mary Joy Apostol in the lead role. It will be a story about a father who again takes his daughter’s responsibility whom he had left years ago. It will release on Netflix on October 7.
Mr. Harrigan’s Phone
Up for a horror movie, then you might want to give this movie a try! Mr. Harrigan’s Phone is directed by John Lee Hancock and it will be based on a novella by Stephen King. The film is all set to release on October 5, on Netflix.
Prey
A science fiction horror film that is directed by Dan Trachtenberg. It will release on October 7, on Disney Plus Hotstar.

The Midnight Club
